The basic algorithm consists of several steps, including a pre-selection of routes, the generation of a new routing graph from a network of suitable charging stations and the finding of the optimal route including charging stations and charging times for the selected vehicle.

The OTH-AW is developing a routing service to find the optimal routes for the test vehicle. In this video, the generation of a route for a 2000km trip is shown.
